The Stylist

While working her way up the stylist career, I've tried to have Melanie introduce herself to a lot of sims to build up her charisma.

Phoenix Prudence turned out to be married & I'm pretty sure he has kids.

She also met Shamus Drudge when she visited the park.

Mary & Norton Baker

Melanie, being the eco-friendly sim that she is, bikes to work & to each of her jobs every day.

Kat Hunter wanted a wardrobe that 'made her look her best', so I had Melanie try & fix her up. She wanted 3 everyday, 3 formal, 1 sleepwear, 1 athletic, 1 swimwear, a new hairstyle, & a new accessory.

Everyday outfit #1

I love these glasses I downloaded from Parsimonious!

formal outfit #1

I think it's safe to say she loved her makeover.

Melanie goes to the Bistro for lunch almost every day. She met Parker Prudence there one day. I think he's Phoenix's son.

Don't remember this gal's name, but she wanted some snazzier sleepwear

Another before shot. I, personally, think she should be more concerned with those liver spots than with fancy sleepwear to impress her visiting friends.

The stylist decides to be styled.

I actually liked it. But the next time she changed clothes, the new outfit was gone.

For 175 simoleons, I expected to KEEP the clothes, not rent them.
Hey don't blame me. Talk to the red guy.

Mary Baker wanted a new formal look.

I think she liked it.

With all the jobs she was getting, Melanie was able to spruce up her bedroom a bit.

Melanie visited the little railroad car restaurant on one her days off.

She's now an In Vogue Virtuoso, which I think is level 6.

I guess even the best can give the occasional bad makeover.

Meet Melanie

Melanie recently moved to the beautiful town of Twinbrooke. Her traits are can't stand art, charismatic, dramatic, eco-friendly, & vegetarian. Her lifetime wish is to be a fashion phenomenon.

First things first. I had Melanie get a job in the stylist career. Can you believe she was late on her first day?

Dramatic sims are so...so.... dramatic! It's quite funny.

Melanie's quaint abode. I can't think of the address right now.
(I really need to start taking notes when I play!)

Melanie!! Not only is your kitchen counter already dirty, but you started a fire too?!
Shame on you!
And what happened to firefighters automatically showing up when a smoke alarm went off? You mean I actually have to call them now?

Melanie's first client.

Well, you certainly have an *interesting* look. Hmm. We certainly want to hide those ears. You say you want to look 'edgy'? Let's see what we can do.

So, how do you like it?

Dude, I totally love it!!
Great! Happy to hear it!

Phew! After that, Melanie needed some time away from the stylist chair. I sent her to the Bistro for lunch. She tried to go home, but I wouldn't let her. You're not gonna be late AND go home early on your first day.

2nd job. I think her name was Olly or Molly or something. Anyway, I don't have a pic of her makeover, but she didn't like it. I don't know what her problem was; I thought she looked great.

I like that my sims can do laundry now. Since Melanie is eco-friendly, she opted for a clothesline rather than a dryer.

So far, I'm loving Ambitions. I'm glad I got it. I haven't played a whole lot yet, but what I've seen so far is great. AND I haven't seen any glitches that I know of *knock on wood* Getting ready to play in a few minutes; hopefully I'll get another update up today.
